The Outreach Team is a source of hope for people
struggling with poverty and homelessness. Outreach is often the
first point of contact for people in crisis and needing access
to CUPS, a crucial moment in building the relationship of trust
that can lead to positive change. The team responds with warmth
and compassion providing:
- Crisis counseling
- Referrals
- Home Visits
- Emergency transportation
- Work Apparel
- Basic needs services such as: food hampers,
clothing and toiletries
The Outreach Team turns no one away. They provide
support to people struggling with addiction, mental illness, homelessness,
hunger, prostitution, chronic health concerns and unemployment.
The Outreach Team is available on the streets
of Calgary from Monday - Saturday for 13 hours a day. They can
