The Counseling & Advocacy Team provides
support and opportunities to families individuals transitioning
out of poverty and homelessness. Individuals and families encounter
a warm, friendly and welcoming environment in which children can
play safely while their parents work towards stability. A holistic
approach allows an important link between the Health Clinic, Outreach
Team and the Counseling & Advocacy Team. The Family Resource
Centre provides:
- Crisis counseling, goal setting, and case
management
- Hot Lunch and snacks, as well as diapers,
formula, and feminine hygiene products
- Referral services for food hampers, clothing,
furniture and housing assistance
A community is built at CUPS everyday that gives
hope to each person, every day. It is this hope that paves the
pathway to open doors and endless possibility.
