Apache Canada / Calgary Stampeders
Breakfast Each year, prior to the opening of the football season,
a large entertaining breakfast is held in the Hyatt Regency Calgary
Ballroom. The volunteers from  Apache
and the management and players of the Stampeders come together
for this major fundraiser.
In addition to the sale of tickets to the breakfast,
a live auction, 50/50 and raffle draws at the Breakfast, the same
day Sponsorship is kicked off. All together, this fundraiser contributes
more than $40,000 toward the operation of CUPS.

Each year, planning for the CUPS Wreath Campaign
begins in summer. Wreaths are ordered and a large team of volunteers
prepare the fresh Christmas Wreaths for delivery in November.
Many volunteers then deliver the Christmas Wreaths to homes and
corporations. This program links the community of Calgary with
those people struggling with poverty, raising important operating
funds for the Family Resource Centre.
Purchase a beautiful,
fresh evergreen wreath for only $50.00 and know that you are helping
move someone from helplessness to hopefulness. Please note that
a tax receipt will not be issued for wreath purchases. To order

at CUPS, the homeless and those who struggle with poverty. Your
support is truly appreciated!
On January 31, 2008, CUPS Community Health Centre
provides a delicious Christmas dinner for approximately 800 of
Calgary's homeless. The Christmas dinner is held in January to
provide hope for a population that struggles, particularly at
this cold time of year.
The dinner is hosted by Knox United Church
and prepared by the Chefs at the Hyatt. The ingredients for the
meal are provided by many of the suppliers of the Hyatt and the
Calgary Inter-Faith food bank.
