A patient came to the CUPS Health Clinic for minor health concerns while living in meager circumstances with minimum income. The staff in the health clinic recognized the patient’s eligibility for AISH and did all the necessary paperwork to ensure they would receive it. Now receiving AISH, the patient uses the Health Clinic staff as support in improving health through diet and exercise and the patient’s quality of life has been significantly improved – allowing them to focus on building stability.
