A single mom in crisis.

A single mom came in to the Family Resource Centre in complete crisis. She had nothing and had no income. The staff in the Family Resource Centre were able to give her an emergency food hamper and a referral to the food bank to take care of her basic needs. In addition, they were able to connect her to a temporary agency in order to get her immediate work and income. The woman, as a result, has successfully stabilized her family and now has a community of friends and support to decrease her isolation and loneliness.
