Volunteer needed to drive to Neighbourlink one morning a week and using a list provided by Family Resource Centre, go through food donations and bring it back to CUPS.

The first trip the volunteer would be accompanied by a CUPS employee to help show them around.

It's actually an interesting activity.

It would be about a 2 to 3 hour commitment each week.

CUPS is looking for a volunteer to help out in our lobby. The volunteer would help with the daily running of the lobby, the duties could include the following:

assist CUPS lobby staff to assess the needs of the client and direct them to the appropriate person

To assist with clothing room on Friday.

• Make bags of toiletries for clients
• Keep track of who has signed up for showers
• Keep an up to date a work board of jobs available
• Message board
• Check mail for clients
• Faxing & Photocoping

CUPS is looking for a few people who can facilitate some of our singles program such as:

• Movie day – pick a movie and then discuss with clients afterward
• Current events – pick a current event and discuss the impact it has had on our city, province, country or the world
• We welcome other ideas
